March of Dimes : Our mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. We carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives. March of Dimes researchers, volunteers, educators, outreach workers and advocates work together to give all babies a fighting chance against the threats to their health: prematurity, birth defects, low birthweight.

The Melanoma Foundation of New England was founded in 1999 by Mel and Marilyn Rubin following the tragic loss of their son, Mark, to melanoma. The Foundation was created to combat the rising rate of melanoma and melanoma deaths. We provide a variety of educational programs targeting the prevention and early detection of skin cancer and melanoma for both children and adults.

Surfers Healing Foundation
Surfers Healing was founded by Israel and Danielle Paskowitz.Their son, Isaiah, was diagnosed with autism at age three. Like many autistic children, he often suffered from sensory overload-- simple sensations could overwhelm him. The ocean was the one place where he seemed to find respite.

Vision of Mercy Endowed Scholarship New in 2009, the Vision of Mercy Scholarship was created by Dr. Virgina Walsh, RSM, and Dr. Johnelle Luciani, RSM, to recognize students who are committed to the materially poor, to peace and justice and to working with advocacy groups on behalf of underserved individuals, all in accordance with the mission of the Sisters of Mercy. Award recipients approach the materially poor and the underserved in the tradition of Catherine McAuley, founder of the Sisters of Mercy.

Water for Cambodia takes a holistic approach to saving and bettering the lives of thousands of children in rural Cambodia. We have adopted this simple principle, provide effective, low tech, easy to maintain, household water filters; combined with literacy, health and hygiene education for young mothers. This is helping to break the cycle of disease and poverty.
